Congratulations to Jame Sorick, honored as one of nine DSP Award winners from the IACP for DSP Recognition Week! Jame is a DSP in Council Bluffs and has been with Trivium for eight years.
“I am very proud to be part of Trivium and support the people that I do,” Jame said. “The clients I serve have impacted me and have taught me lessons I will never forget. I love what I do. It's not just a job, it is a part of my life. I truly believe I will do this for the rest of my life. I am so grateful for my clients in this amazing opportunity — without them, I wouldn't be where I am.”
Jame was quick to point out that though she is the one being recognized, it takes a team to be able to do great work.
“Since the very first day I started, I have felt a part of something bigger than most people could imagine,” she said. “My first person I met was [CB Market Director] Jamie Gross. She has always been so welcoming, encouraging, and supportive. When she is around you could bet you're going to get that smile and how are you doing?
“Kelly Peters has always been someone I have felt comfortable talking to. She is also very knowledgeable and wants her employees to succeed. She tells us when we are doing an amazing job, which pushes people to continue doing a great job.”
Jame’s supervisor Michelle Cleaver nominated her for this award.
“Having Michelle as my Coordinator has pushed me to want to do the best that I can; I couldn't be a great coach without her,” Jame said. “Anytime I need assistance she's always there giving me advice. She is encouraging, genuine, and passionate about her position.”
Jame thanked Trivium for always supporting their staff and going above and beyond.
“Together with the other employees,” she said, “we are able to do great quality work and fulfill the mission of Trivium.”
