Senior Leadership

A certified CliftonStrengths Coach, Chris Blake has been leading Trivium’s Center of Excellence since its founding in 2021. Under her directorship, the Center is creating more inclusive leaders through professional development, consultations, and CliftonStrengths Coaching. Developing the Center’s programs is a continuation of Blake’s commitment to employee engagement and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Previously, Blake served as Chief Human Resources Officer, beginning in 2017 when CASS Incorporated — where she had been Chief Business Officer responsible for human resources, information technology, and fiscal services since 2007 — joined Trivium Life Services. 

Blake is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management and received her Professional in Human Resources certification in 2008. She graduated from Iowa Western Community College with an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration, then went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources from Buena Vista University in 2010.

A lifelong-learner and advocate of accessible higher education, Blake serves as the District IV Trustee for the Iowa Western Community College board. She is also a board member for the Southwest Iowa Employer’s Council and volunteers as an ambassador for the Atlantic Chamber of Commerce.

Blake and her husband Randy, who farm near Atlantic, are active in their church and enjoy spending time with their three grown children, their spouses, and seven grandchildren.
