Trivium’s Center of Excellence (COE) is a development center aiming to create more inclusive leaders through training, consultations, and CliftonStrengths® Coaching. With the Center of Excellence, Trivium is closing the gap between who we are now and who we can be, to provide better services with a more engaged and empowered workforce.

The COE’s programs are a force for change. They support workplace transformations through organization-wide culture change, helping employees to engage authentically and do their best work. The executive leadership coaching series, for instance, teaches leaders to create inclusive strengths-based cultures that, in turn, drive better business results.

The COE serves as a strategic resource in developing disruptive diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies, building new capabilities for leaders, and coaching leaders from the middle level to the c-suite. These new capabilities will allow Trivium to expand its reach and increase our impact in the communities we serve.

CliftonStrengths® is at the heart of the Center’s ideology. Gallup’s CliftonStrengths® is a personal and organizational development method that focuses on cultivating an individual’s natural strengths rather than “fixing” her or his shortcomings. The method, rooted in Don Clifton’s 40 years of research, details 34 talent themes divided into four categories: Strategic Thinking, Relationship Building, Influencing, and Executing. Through a Strengths Assessment, individuals learn their Top 5 Strengths — the innate talents they must hone and develop to reach their full potential.

The Center of Excellence seeks to help employees understand their talents and aim their Strengths to overcome obstacles, weaknesses, and vulnerabilities. Using Strengths to build relationships can transform teams. At the COE, supervisors will learn to resolve team conflicts and improve cooperation and collaboration. Awareness of individual team members’ Strengths will enable them to better lead their teams and optimize their performance.

Ultimately, we desire to help people do what they do best every day to improve their quality of life inside and outside of work.
